My mind was blown when a buddy informed me that Mendel, godfather of genetics, was... a fraud! From what I can tell, the great monk had little training in statistics so his data suffered mightily from confirmation bias. Basically, he observed the simple 3:1 ratio and then doctored his data to fit it exactly. Gregor! Say it ain't so!
