Internationalists, listen!

The amount of traffic this page is getting from WoW searches was funny at first. Now it's just bizarre. I mean, the Google image search clearly displays a thumbnail of my blistered finger, and not an image relevant, in any way, to this online game that's all the rage. Well, to those who've stumbled onto this site in search of codes or whatever, why not take a listen to the band whose frontman sustained the aformentioned injury.

Here are some mp3s:
Thomas Window Paine
Bear Island
The Summer Jam
I Like the Snow

And if you like these dope tracks, why not purchase a compact disc?

Favorite jam-tomes of the past year

my top 5 of '05.

5. Animal Collective - Feels -- a disappointment after Sung Tongs as far as I am concerned, but still superior stuff.

4. The Juan Maclean - Less Than Human -- good for dancing and meeting new people in new places.

3. Broken Social Scene - S/T -- I like this album a lot and was sure it was going to top everyone's list, until I heard...

2. Sufjan Stevens - Illinois -- When this album came out I listened to it for the first time on my Ipod while laying on the beach on Long Island. It reminds me of urban beaches and dirty sea gulls and American stuff like that.

1. The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema -- Sufjan made a great album, with awesome imagry and wondrous arrangements, but Carl Newman and company made, for my money, one of the best pop albums of all time. Somehow they crafted a bunch of songs that are instantly likeable but you never get sick of them. They made me like the library (again).
