Idiot vs. Non-idiot

I am certainly out of my element when it comes to population genetics and the relevant issues here. But it is occasionally incredibly frustrating when I encounter a piece of journalism that so grossly misinterprets scientific publications that I my jaw drops. Here it is: In the American Spectator, William tucker argues the relatively high level of divergence between ape and human Y chromosomes suggests that men supply our race with it's humanity.
